Why Backwards Compatibility is Pointless (But Cool)

Gaming isn't exactly my bread and butter. That'd be movies, obviously, but I'm a fairly avid gamer that always has a least two playthroughs going on at one time, so when Sony announced the PlayStation 4, I figured I take a lot. But, the reveal was less than exciting  you know with Sony seeming to forget that video games are a thing. But, one thing that has stuck with me over the past week has been peoples refusal to get other the fact that the PS4 is not backward compatible with the PS3. And in all honesty, why should it be?

2013 Oscar Predictions

Yes, with the 85th Annual Academy Awards airing tonight on ABC, hosted by Seth MacFarlane who I suspect will do a good job. And, as I did last year, I will predict some of the categories we'll see tonight. I'll be doing the same twelve as last year, plus to more, Best Animated Short Feature and Best Foreign Film. And with some of these, I make not have a "Who Should Win" choice simply because I may not feel informed enough to do so. On with the show!

NEW SERIES: Robot Ninjas vs Dragon Zombies: Season 1, Episode 1: "Killer Klowns From Outer Space"

Yes, it's time again to introduce another new series on Cinema Won. In this new series, titled Robot Ninjas vs Dragon Zombies, each episode I will be reviewing a film with an insane title and/or premise and deciding whether or not it lives up to it's insane premise and/or title. Like Awfully Direct, this show will have 13-episode seasons before going on a short break. And to kick off the series... well, if you're afraid of clowns, sorry.

Awfully Direct: Season 1, Episode 1: Fire With Fire

And we're back. After a few months hiatus Awfully Direct is back with all new episodes! Thirteen all new episodes to be exact. This is a new thing for Cinema Won. Awfully Direct is now actually the first of two new shows premiering on Cinema Won over the next week. The other show has to do with funny titles. Exciting! Basically, both of these shows will have 13 episode seasons. The shows will run one episode a week (More or less). Then when their season ends I'll take a few weeks break before they return for another 13-episode run. Awfully Direct is first up, with it's Season 1 premiere. (What episodes in November?) Kicking off the season, we have Fire With Fire, a direct-to-DVD film starring... Josh Duhamel, Rosario Dawson and Bruce Willis?
