Eddie Murphy No Longer to Host Oscars

After Brett Ratner stepped down as the 84th Academy Awards producer due to using and anti-gay slur in an interview over the weekend, Eddie Murphy, who was set to host the event, has stepped down as the show's host. Though Murphy did not say why, it is safe to say that it is most likely due to Ratner, who brought Eddie onto the show and directed him in the new film Tower Heist, stepping down as well.

It is not yet known who will replace Murphy and Ratner, but this is a serious, albeit understandable, set-back for the Academy. So, tell me, who should replace Murphy and Ratner? And how do you feel about this whole mess?

See you later.
